Hey Boneheads,
I don't know if you noticed or not, but I'm in today's issue of the SF Bay Guardian!! I'm smack dab in the middle of the issue- kind of like where the centerfold would be if there was one. A big thank you to Michelle at Dollhouse Bettie for asking me to be part of this!

I have some exciting things coming up this month. I have a photo shoot booked almost every weekend this month. I can't give too much away, but keep your eyes out for some knock your socks off photos!!
By the way, did I mention that I am the new Saturday night DJ?? That's right!! The radio Gods have spoken and I'll be with you every Saturday (right after Steven Seaweed) from 7pm until midnight. How cool is that?
Let me know how I'm doing at rockgirl@thebone.net.
XOXO,
Angela

Boneheads,
I've gotta tell you... so far I am LOVING 2010!!! I took a little road trip down to Anaheim last weekend for the NAMM Show, and it was non stop the entire time. I think you can expect some big things from me this year. Well, fingers crossed :)
I headed down I-5 very, very early Friday morning. Not only was I doing the Coffin Case Fashion Show that night, but I also had a shoot scheduled with my photographer friend, Robert Alvarado. I made it to Orange County before noon, and we snapped a few shots. What do you think? Do I look like I just drove 400 miles??

After that, it was back on the road, and off to get ready for the fashion show. The second set of outfits were all latex fashion by Venus Prototype. I've never worn a latex dress before, but there is one rule that you must follow when wearing latex.... You have to completely cover yourself in "lube", and have 2 people slide you into your outfit. That was an experience and a half, but totally worth it! Lucky for me another photographer friend, Ernie Manrique of Manrique Photos, was there to get some shots of all the ladies in latex.
Saturday, I was one of the Coffin Girls at the Coffin Case booth. I don't think I've ever had so many pictures taken in my life. I even met a few Bay Area Boneheads, and got a pic with Nikki Blakk... who advised me to put some pants on, LOL!! I finally did on Sunday, and I was Bay Area bound!

I had way too much fun. There are still a ton of pictures and videos floating about. I'll post those as I get them.
By the way, Saturday, January 23rd is my birthday party at Mutiny in Antioch. I wanted to invite everyone to come on down, check out the bands, and have a drink. Mutiny is donating 10% of bar sales that night to Haiti relief! It's booze for a cause.
Hope to see you there!!
XOXO,
Angela

What a rockin' New Year's I had!! I trust that all of you had the same. My night started off a little slow, because I had to wait on one of my friends to get ready. Yeesh!! I think it's Murphy's law that if it takes a woman longer than one hour to pick out her outfit, she will end up wearing the first thing she put on.
No big deal, we made it to our destination (in where else, but Bethel Island). I live in San Francisco, but I seem to spend a lot of time out there. Anyways, I danced my you-know-what off, and the band even asked me to do the official count down at midnight. That was way awesome. Here's a short video to prove it...
New Year's Day, I went to The 30th Annual Frozen Bun Run. For those of you not familiar, it takes place every New Year's Day at The Rusty Porthole. People go water skiing wearing crazy costumes, or um.... well, there is a reason it's called The Frozen Bun Run. It was good times with good people. I can't wait to see what 2010 has in store!!

XOXO,
Angela

Hey Boneheads!!
First off, I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I spent mine with my family in, where else but, Bethel Island. I'm pretty sure I made Santa's naughty list this year. All of the gifts I receive were in bottles with phrases like "Please drink responsibly" printed on them. It's hard to put into words, but you can go to the video if you'd like. Be warned, the song is not radio friendly....
I can't believe 2010 is here already. I have a few things coming up that I am really excited about. In a few weeks I'll be headed down to the NAMM Show in Anaheim with my friends from Coffin Case. It's so much fun! Last year, I was in the fashion show that opened for Alice Cooper. It's definitely a rock star-studded event. I've bumped in to Danny Carey, Lemmy Kilmister, Paul Stanley, Nikki Sixx, and Jerry Only to name a few. If you are wondering if I become a total nerd around rock and roll legends, the answer is "Yes". I promise to take lots of pictures, and maybe even take a stab a making a video.
Well Boneheads, I want to wish everyone a safe and happy new year
2010 here we come!!
By the way, I'm going to start taking a photography class in February. I've got the goods, I just need the know how. I took this photo of myself dressed as Marilyn Monroe. What do you think??

XOXO,
Angela

Hey Boneheads!!
I gotta know...have you been naughty or nice this year? Have you downloaded my desktop calendar yet? Well, that's step one for getting on my "Nice" list. There's still a lot of December left, so what are you waiting for?!
There's a lot of awesome concerts coming up, too. Yep, that's right. One of them is Metallica this Saturday at HP Pavilion. I am way excited!! I've even got the first 4 albums on vinyl. Yes, vinyl. Ask my good friend, Steven Seaweed - he can tell you all about it. If you see me at the show, come rock out with me!!
You know what I realized, Boneheads? I've been terrible about bringing my camera with me lately. Luckily, I have a few photos to share from a recent shoot I did with from Mitzi Valenzuela from Mitzi & Co. There are some I can't show you just yet, so you'll have to be patient! Keep your fingers crossed though. Some just might end up in your favorite hot rod magazines.
See you next time, Boneheads!
XOXO

It was another weekend full of awesomeness!! I was asked to be a judge in a talent competition at Burnin' Burro Studios in Livermore on Saturday. I’m not sure how I qualified for that one (since my only real talent is being a smart ass), but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I even saw a familiar act. Perhaps you remember Full On Flyhead from the Bone Rock Girl Sweet 16 Party back in April? Well, you should definitely check them out. They’ve added an additional vocalist, and let me tell you, the girl has pipes!

This weekend also called for some quality time with the fam. I helped my brother celebrate his 24th birthday by dragging him to the Goodguys Autumn Get-Together Car Show in Pleasanton. Hopefully, you stopped by and said "Hi" to my good buddy, Steven Seaweed on Sunday. My absolute favorite car of the show was the new Dodge Challenger. Not only is it one kick-ass ride, but the presenter was able to start it from his iPhone! I seriously need to get my hands on one of those. My birthday is coming up ... hint, hint ... :)

After the car show, we headed over to happy hour (with a DD of course). I was introduced to a drink called a "Trash Can." This drink is similar to a Long Island Iced Tea, but with a can of Red Bull placed upside-down in the glass. Supposedly, it resembles the top of a trash can, hence the name. I have my own theory about the name. I think it’s called a "Trash Can" because the next day you feel like garbage!! My advice is to steer clear of these, and stick to the basics this Thanksgiving!
Until next time!

Hey there Boneheads,
I hope everyone had an awesome Halloween!! I certainly did. Friday night, I ended up taking 2nd place in a costume contest for my Marilyn Monroe getup at The Rusty Porthole in Bethel Island! I think that might actually have been the first time I've left a bar with money in my pocket. My wig was so tight that it actually bruised my forehead. Can't say I didn't work for it.

Since I didn't want to repeat my costume, or crush my brain with that wig, I opted for a darker ensemble on Halloween night. I stumbled upon a pair of vampire fangs that you are able to custom fit to your teeth at home. Add a smoking wiggle dress, and a bit of makeup, and BAM!! Instant "True Blood" extra.
I've gotta say, my weekend kicked some serious butt.
Speaking of butt, I chose to sit on mine all day Sunday. Hey, even The Bone Rock Girl needs to take it easy once in a while. Well, mostly because there are a ton of rockin' shows coming up, not to mention the Goodguys Car Show November 15th in Pleasanton.
Maybe I'll see you there!
XOXO

Hey Boneheads!!
I wanted to say a big "THANK YOU" to everyone that came out to Masse's Billiards & Sports Bar in Walnut Creek weekend before last. I think you listeners had it in for me. I didn't get challenged to a single game of pool. Instead, you guys went straight for beer pong!! I must say, I got my you-know-what handed to me, but it was for a good cause. All of the money was donated to the Breast Cancer Fund, and my Sister was nice enough to be my DD. That's "designated driver" for all you Ta-Ta guys.
I may have gotten my butt kicked on Saturday, but was redeemed on Sunday. I spent a good part of the day at the Jockey Club in San Mateo. Through blind luck, all of my horses placed and I won a bit of cash. That money went straight to the Rock Girl Needs a New Pair of Boots Fund :).
My favorite holiday of the year is almost here!!! I love Halloween!! I didn't get in to the spirit until last Wednesday, when I to see Alice Cooper ROCK The Warfield in SF. He put on one of, if not the best, shows I have ever seen. He dies 4 times on stage!! Who does that?
On a serious side note, I want to remind you to wear your earplugs at concerts. I was in the elevator Alice Cooper before the show, and apparently he asked me if I wanted to be a guest zombie on stage. Some how, I didn't hear him, I walked off the elevator like a total dork. All because I have been to too many shows without ear protection... sigh....
No use crying over spilled milk, I guess. I'm going to head to a few events this weekend, and that means multiple costumes! Stayed tuned, and let me know which one is your favorite. You can email me at rockgirl@thebone.net.

XOXO
